So it's post-Easter and the chocolate coma is fading and wedding season is kicking off. I often get asked about shooting weddings and what its like. My usual answer is that you have to be fit! A 10-12 hour day on your feet with cameras attached is not only physically tough but also mentally as you have to be on the ball for the whole day and have your eyes on everyone and everything so you can react in an instant.
At some point in the future when I have a spare second away from shooting, editing, client liaison and the dreaded admin I'll do a blog about my wedding day essential items and kit list, it may surprise some of you! In the meantime I thought I'd share a feature that I appeared in recently in Your Surrey Wedding magazine. It gives a brief glimpse into how I work and why I do what I do, not to mention my love of Mac n'Cheese (all in the name of carbo-loading of course for those long wedding days!)
Catch you all soon, but for now its back to editing!
