So here are some images that I've shot for no other reason than its been something that's caught my eye or is something I'm passionate about. It could be a landscape, a cool portrait or an event. It will quit possibly be cycling related. Whatever it is please feel free to browse and, hopefully, enjoy.
After family and photography, cycling is my thing. The history, the personalities, the colours, the kits, the bikes, the dozens and dozens of races that have been around for years and years; it's a sport filled with so many idiosyncrasies that I'm continually fascinated by it. Being out on the bike, cycling through country lanes in the middle of nowhere, blowing off steam and getting the legs turning. It really helps me think and keeps me alive. I'm a member of the Rapha Cycling Club, an international community of like minded enthusiasts who have a shared love of all things cycling. Below are a selection of photos ranging from the pro ranks of the Tour de France and Team Sky to the more grass roots of Vets racing.
Rugby Union is another passion of mine, formerly as a player and now as a coach of my son's mini-rugby side. On occasions my work has taken in the more grass roots aspects of the game from schools to "have-a-go" sessions run in conjunction with the Dallaglio Foundation.
Living in a more rural part of Surrey I'm often out and about with the dog, walking across fields where we'll come across other animals such as cows, pigs and horses. I often take my camera with me because you never know what you're going to come across. So if you ever want any pictures of your four legged friend (of any variety) then drop me a line as its a case of "have camera and wellies, will travel"!
