Victoria & Rod Wedding - RMA Sandhurst, Surrey

A couple of years ago I shot a wedding at RMA Sandhurst, a place steeped in tradition and military history and recently I was lucky enough to return there for the wedding of Victoria & Rod who both had close ties with the college. As a location it never fails to inspire and Victoria and her Mum really outdid themselves when it came to their attention to detail. Taking Rod's Scottish heritage and, using his tartan as inspiration, there were little nods to its colour all over the place from the car to the cake (my goodness, and what a cake!) to the flowers and the impressively stocked sweetie bar. With a piper escorting them throughout the day (by the way, EVERYONE should get their own piper, they're fantastic!) everything ran without a hitch and into the wee small hours after lots of vigorous dancing to the amazing Baltik Ceilidh Band. 

Victoria and Rod are a truly great couple, fun to be around and with the love and support of a wonderful family and group of friends. It was a day to remember, filled with the prerequisite laughter, tears, joy and of course piping. Lots of fantastic piping.
